Ahi & Wai is a love letter to the world from the many layers of who I am, especially my inner child who grew up in the ‘wop wops’ therefore had a creative imagination that always ran wild — from my Māori (Ngāpuhi/ Ngai Te Rangi ) and Croatian roots to my deep love for nature, adventure ,friendship, culture, art, storytelling, and self-expression.

Every piece in every collection will reflect this — names like Aio (Peace in Te Reo) and Rak (Crab in Croatian) are more than just names; they’re stories woven into wearable art. Inspired by the sun-kissed shores of the far north ( Te Tai Tokerau ) , goddess’s in Maori mythology , and the stories of adventure from Croatia to NZ that shaped my upbringing, this brand is where land, sea, and soul meet.
